As far as a technical book about an operating system, it’s a great opebbsd reference with plenty of explanation for the OpenBSD noob. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.

Even gurus will find valuable things in this book that they did not know. I doubt oprnbsd a better book on OpenBSD could be written. Posthums rated it really liked it Feb 27, Michael Lucas tackles OpenBSD topics in ways that are bound to inspire the learner and warm the hearts of Unix greybeards.

If there has to be only one, this is a fairly good choice. Just for a nice read from time to time and as a reminder for some things I may forget. Thanks for the offer! Do you stop writing!

Needless to say part of the role of books such as this is to help grow the community and clout, which Lucas certainly seems to have found a niche but hopefully growing!
