Yes, maybe they’re able to get out of those bad situations and rise above it, but it shouldn’t be easy for them. I was told Bobby was growing, but I rarely fel This series became a growing disappointment.
I kind of wanted a huge ending with tons of fighting and such but it never really happened. This book is a definite fantacy that envoles other worlds.
After reading this book Hal,a going to have a much harder rating system on my book shelves, because other books I currently have at five stars SUCK compared to this awe inspiring book. What do you think about the twist, that the exiles while important for Solara weren’t the TP, but the Ravinians themselves were?
The Soldiers of Halla Pendragon, 10 4. I need to read that one again. Maybe DJ MacHale really just could not decide between “this is the way things were meant to be” and “the people of Halla should be free to make their own choices! The first generation of Travelers quickly appear, such as Osa, Loor’s pendragom, and Seegen, Kasha’s father, and lead the other Travelers away.
I definitely recommend all of the Pendragon novels.
Nevva is forgiven, and Elli is at peace. I really enjoy when they can all work together, like to create the flume. Aparently this is a “children’s book”. MacHale does a great job bringing the reader up to speed, giving the information needed to follow the story in a timely, not intruding way. It got kind of shaky for me around book 6 The Rivers of Zadaabut I continued with it because I was invested in the characters by that point.
The stakes are high and it gets dangerous for Bobby and his friends.
And the best book so far in this series is The Never War. His family leads Bobby to another place, that is filled with dark clouds and crumbling, dark matter.

My other complain, and this one is huge, is that I hate, really hate, the Epilogue. I’m puuuurty sure there was an editor involved in the making of this book.
